I understand what Bilbo meant in The Lord of the Rings <\/em>when he said this ahead of leaving Bag End and the Shire. I have put off creating this blog for a long time. In fact it has been put off for years…<\/p>\n\n\n\n You see I really am a professional. A professional procrastinator! I can and have put this and other things off like nobodies business. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I have to deal with the why behind my procrastination. Honestly it boils down to fear. I’m afraid of failure. I’m afraid of what others will think. I am sure this will come as a surprise to many who know me – I’m scared…<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now that we have that out of the way…I am forging a new path. God has not given me a spirit of fear, so I am officially a blogger now. I am not doing this for the approval of others. I am doing this for me! <\/p>\n\n\n\n I want to have some of the tough conversations that many people want to avoid. I want to say some of the quiet parts out loud. It may get uncomfortable for both of us, but this is not about being comfortable. It’s about being real…it’s about being me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Yes, I have put this off for far too long…but you can trust me because I’m a professional! I hope you will join me on this journey.
